The Great Recycler: Luke 19.1-10

Today salvation has come to this house, because he also is a son of Abraham; for the Son of Man has come to seek and to save that which was lost.

Luke 10.9-10

Jesus Reduces…

He eliminates evil, temptations, tricks and struggles we may face.

12 Steps, for example…

· Step 2 - Came to believe that a Power greater than ourselves could restore us to sanity

· Step 3 - Made a decision to turn our will and our lives over to the care of God as we understood God

· Step 5 - Admitted to God, to ourselves and to another human being the exact nature of our wrongs

· Step 6 - Were entirely ready to have God remove all these defects of character

· Step 7 - Humbly asked God to remove our shortcomings

· Step 11 - Sought through prayer and meditation to improve our conscious contact with God as we understood God, praying only for knowledge of God's will for us and the power to carry that out

Jesus Re-uses…

Those that we wouldn’t think of using, God does

Recondishun’d, for example…

Jesus Recycles…

Therefore, if anyone is in Christ, he is a new creation; old things have passed away; behold, all things have become new. 2 Corinthians 5.17

Do not be conformed to this world, but be transformed by the renewing of your mind. Romans 12.2

Take Away Thought

God is greater than all my needs.

His ability is beyond my problems.

Jesus wants to

Reduce my temptation and struggle,

Re-uses me for his glory,

And recycles my life.
