Jesus said to him, I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father except through Me.
John 14.6
Some observations…
· Different economic systems produce different results. (e.g. capitalism vs. communism.
· Different educations will get you different positions. (e.g. HS dropout vs. Ivy League graduate)
· Different political systems will give you different freedoms. (e.g. democracy vs. dictatorship)
· Different political parties will get you different emphases. (e.g. democrats vs. republicans)
· Different diet/ exercise programs produce different results.
Those things may all be true, but why do we think about religion in the same way.
All religions lead to God/ heaven.
Whatever you believe, as long as you believe it whole-heartedly, will get you the same results.
Other ways to God-life are not effective.
Most assuredly, I say to you, I am the door of the sheep. All who ever came before Me are thieves and robbers, but the sheep did not hear them. I am the door. If anyone enters by Me, he will be saved, and will go in and out and find pasture. John 10.7-9
Jesus is the only way to God-life.
John 14.6
Jesus wants to come to us.
Behold, I stand at the door and knock. If anyone hears My voice and opens the door, I will come in to him and dine with him, and he with Me. Revelation 3.20
Jesus wants us to be fulfilled in life.
I have come that they may have life, and that they may have it more abundantly. John 10.10
There is only one God and one Savior.
There is one God and one Mediator between God and men, the Man Christ Jesus. 1 Timothy 3.5
Take Away Thought
Jesus is the way,
The only way to God.
It is my job to help others know him-
As soon as possible.
