Some Thoughts on Young People: 1 Timothy 4.12-14

1. Read 1 Timothy 4.12-14 aloud.
2. Begin your Bible Study session by asking each member of the group to write the passage in their own words.
3. Ask for volunteers who will be willing to share what they have written. Give everyone an opportunity to participate in the conversation.
4. Have each person respond to the following question, "What does this passage mean to you?" Responses can be written, or they can be offered in conversation. Be sure that everyone responds in some way.
5. Finally, ask each person to write down their response to the questions, "What can you do about these verses? What should you do?" If someone would like to share their answers, give them an opportunity.
6. Close the Bible study by praying that young people would become examples in ministry to their elders.
